Thomastik-Infeld BB112 Jazz BeBop 012–050 is a premium roundwound electric guitar string set designed for jazz guitarists who value a warm tone, clear attack and natural brilliance. Unlike flat wound strings, these are wound with nickel wire, which provides a clearer bite in the attack without losing the deep fundamental tone.
These strings are very reminiscent of the acclaimed Jazz Swing series, but the material choice in the winding gives the sound a more shimmering treble. The unwound strings are also brass plated, which provides a smoother tonal transition between the wound and unwound strings in the set.
