The 6061-00 is the perfect option to replace and upgrade the nut on your Epiphone guitar made in 2014 and after.
Measures:
• Length 43.90mm.
• Width 6.0mm.
• Height 9.58mm.
• E To E 35.00mm.
Measure the E to e spacing, width, height and length of your current top nut and find the closest match for the E to e spacing and a nut that is slightly larger in size than your current top nut.
Buying Guide.
Most important are E to E spacing and width of nut. Extra length and height is common and can be taken down with fine sandpaper. TUSQ can be sanded, filed, and polished just like ivory or bone.
The Black TUSQ is made to be free of inconsistencies and impurities which can be found in natural materials such as bone and ivory.
The Teflon impregnated Black Tusq is over 500 times more slippery than graphite and means that your guitar strings will slide over it and will therefore stay in tune longer and be less prone to breakage.
Black Tusq top nuts are slightly oversized and have extra length and height so that you can adjust them to fit your guitar by simply sanding them with a 200 grit sandpaper.
